The free pattern for my Crochet Peep Bunny is available here on my blog! These are quick and easy to whip up and make the perfect addition to an Easter Basket or strung together as an adorable festive garland! Below you'll find the free pattern and video tutorial.
Pattern Design + Construction
I set out to design an adorable Easter basket filler for my niece and nephew and these precious crochet peeps turned out better than I could have imagined! They're quick and beginner friendly, making it easy to crochet an entire peep army in one afternoon! These would also make a sweet little garland if strung together with jute or ribbon or even a cute Easter ornament.
Each Crochet Peep Bunny consists of a front and back panel, which are joined with a round single crochet and a layer of light stuffing inside. We'll also be adding some tiny safety eyes for the face. The finished peep measures approximately 5-6" tall. This pattern could easily be adjusted to create a larger peep bunny by using a larger crochet hook and bulkier yarn.

Yarn:
We'll be using medium Worsted Weight (4) Yarn for these crochet peep bunnies. This is my favorite yarn weight to work with for crochet rag dolls and it has a great price point. It's versatile and wears well while also being soft and cozy which is perfect for a stuffed animal or lovey pattern! You could easily substitute brands of worsted weight yarn as long as the ounces per gram are similar. My current favorite brands for acrylic worsted weight are Red Heart Super Saver, I Love This Yarn, Yarn Bee, and Lion Brand.
For this tutorial, I used the following yarn colors:
Red Heart Super Saver, Medium 4, 7 oz / 198 g, in the color Bright Yellow
Red Heart Super Saver, Medium 4, 7 oz / 198 g, in the color Minty
Red Heart Super Saver, Medium 4, 7 oz / 198 g, in the color Lavender
Red Heart Super Saver, Medium 4, 7 oz / 198 g, in the color Flamingo
